Postpartum Essentials: How to find your balance


When you are in the throws of new motherhood, things can be bittersweet, to say the least. Those first few weeks (or months) can be profound yet demanding. Demanding of your time, sleep and emotions. One in four mothers experience postpartum depression/anxiety. Everyone thinks that this transition “should be” difficult (the level of difficulty and struggle will be relative to your own personal experience) . You won't necessarily know how you will cope till you are faced with the sleepless nights and hormones fluctuations. The focus of this class is for expectant mothers to explore creativity, dialogue and playful expression, as a means to proactively prep for the postpartum phase.
