MY POSTPARTUM PLAN
MY POSTPARTUM PLAN
When you are in the throws of new motherhood, things can be bittersweet, to say the least. Those first few days & weeks can be hazy and very demanding. Demanding of your time, sleep and emotions. You won't really know how you will cope, until you are face to face with the sleepless nights and hormone fluctuations.
The focus of this self-study is for expectant mothers to proactively prep for the 4th trimester.
BE PREPARED FOR THE FOURTH TRIMESTER AND BEYOND...
This is an all-inclusive invitation to every expectant mother. Becoming a mother can be exciting and joyful; it can also be bittersweet, challenging, and exhausting. This downloadable plan will guide you through this transition by easing your fears, and encouraging you to trust yourself. Mothers who have a plan for support will often have a smoother transition into the fourth trimester - a time of growth, adventure, and learning.
IMAGINE becoming the mother you've always wanted to be.
BUT, WHY SHOULD I HAVE A POSTPARTUM PLAN?
Just as you’ve given lots (and lots) of thought to your birth plan (you’ve even typed and signed it, right?). This postpartum plan is an amazing way to honour what you NEED plus it helps you anticipate and plan for the support you will need.
I recommend that you create your plan with your partner in your third trimester.
But before we get to that, I’d like you to know…
First, you are going to need a lot more help than you think you need (AND you do not have to do everything yourself, so just stop that thought train right now). In today’s culture we tend to think that if we CAN do something ourselves, then we SHOULD. This simply is not true and it sets us up for unrealistic expectations during postpartum. So, accept the help, welcome it, ask for it.
Second, the purpose of this plan (and support) is to help YOU not the baby. YOU are the one who needs to be getting your basic needs met (this includes: food, water, comfort, and unconditional love). You need this support in order to build your self-confidence, trust, and inner instincts as a new mom.
Third, start the inner work of accepting of what you cannot control (aka. other people). You cannot control your MiL coming over to overshare and run past boundaries, but, you can control how you handle it and how YOU communicate.
Fourth, this transformational 20 page guide will help you create space for becoming the mother you’ve always wanted to be.
Go on, download this guide now. YOU won’t regret it.
