Rise Above Perfectionism

The art of being gentle on yourself

An online course for the moms who want to ditch perfectionism and still get sh*t done.

Just like you, I’m exhausted by the constant pressure of motherhood.

Motherhood can feel like a pressure-cooker of "shoulds," you know? Like we're supposed to have all the answers, be perfect in every situation, and always be smiling. But that's just not realistic!

You know what's messed up?

Society makes us feel guilty for asking for what we want or need. The default setting is “it’s all on me”, but that's not really healthy long term (but you probably knew that already).

This constant pressure makes you feel like there’s something wrong with you, but here’s the thing: you are not the problem. You just didn’t have someone in your corner guiding you through a new approach and cheering you on.

‘Rise Above Perfectionism’ is here to teach you the art of being gentle with yourself (without sacrificing your to-do list).

Being a mom is tough, and feeling level-headed is even tougher. It requires a whole new set of skills and abilities, which don't necessarily come naturally to those who struggle with perfectionism and control. But don't sweat it; it's common to feel this way in the modern, gentle parenting climate, and there's a solution.

Rising above perfectionism isn't easy, but it's easier when you learn and practice new skills that positively impact you and your kid. Scrolling your way through it won't cut it - that's how you add more comparison and more perfection. But if you follow someone who's already done it, that's the recipe for feeling more chill! Been there, done that - and I'd love to help you.

  • The algorithm knows exactly what to show you, and you likely already have saved Instagram posts that help. I like to use social media to find answers to my parenting questions and doubts. (Anyone else following Dr. Becky? She's amazing!) The problem with social media is that things will stay the same unless you move from reading about it to practicing it. The wisdom and laughter you might get from social media is only a tiny portion of what's needed to create the life you want.
