Undermothered Series
For the mom who learned to take care of everyone else first, and is ready to ask what it looks like to mother herself now, not someday.
Art Club for Moms is a weekly* virtual session where moms gather to meditate, make art, write a little, and breathe for an hour.
*Register for one, register for a handful, or register for all 15 - options because I know ya'll are balancing all the things. What's Included
15 weekly virtual live sessions, one question worked through each week - questions like "why do I feel guilty when I finally sit down and rest" or "how do I set a boundary with my mom without it turning into a whole thing"
60 minutes to meditate, make art, write a little, and breathe
Connected to the Undermothered podcast series, so the conversation continues the rest of the week
This is not a worksheet or a webinar. It is a space where the question gets asked and we look for the answer in the creative process.
This is what you need if
You have caught yourself mid-sentence saying the exact thing your own mother used to say, and hated how it sounded coming out of your mouth
You know you are not getting the apology, let alone the conversation, you hoped for from your own mother - and you would like a f*cking moment that belongs only to you
You want to show up even on the hard weeks, when you have not showered and only have one hour to spare
You want to understand where these patterns came from, not just collect another list of tips to try
This isn't right for you if
You are in crisis or need individual support right now - this is not a substitute for therapy or crisis care
You want the art to come out looking polished or "good" - this is not that kind of room
You are looking for parenting advice or a checklist - this series stays with the question, and does not give prescriptive answers or unsolicited advice
The Cost
$15 drop-in, single session
5-session pack - $60 (pay for 4, 1 session free)
All 15 sessions - $195 (pay for 13, 2 sessions free)
No refunds on any session type. See FAQ below for full cancellation and waitlist policy.
The Process & How It Works
Tuesdays at 12:00 PM MST
Virtual, live only, via Jane, not recorded. Max 15 participants per session.
Everyone arrives, and Kayla gives a short introduction. Together you set intentions for the time. Kayla guides a visualization, then offers an art prompt and a written prompt - so there is an option for those who may not want to create. A reflection question wraps up the session. There is a short time at the end for anyone who wants to share.
