Mom Time: Easy, Evidence-Based Course for Moms
The Productivity Pressure Course
A video series for moms who are tired of feeling guilty for wanting five minutes to themselves.
What you will learn
🠊 Understand your relationship with time and productivity, so the pressure stops running the show.
🠊 Stop rushing through your days like everything's an emergency.
🠊 Understand how days go by fast and slow all at the same time.
🠊 Get yourself on the list (and maybe not at the bottom).
Most moms want to stop feeling so pressed for time and stop rushing around, but aren't sure where to start. I created Mom Time to give you the tools to build an anti-productivity pressure practice into your daily life, so you can slow down when things feel urgent or busy.
This course will guide you to build your own structure for asking for what you need, consistently, using our evidence-based, naturalist approach. I know moms hold the power over their own leisure time. We're here to help.
Who It’s For
✅ Working mothers under constant pressure to produce who skip meals, hold their pee, and feel guilty for wanting five minutes alone
✅ Stay-at-home moms under constant pressure who love their kids fiercely but are drowning in the daily chaos
✅ Mothers with time anxiety who treat every Tuesday like an emergency and can't turn off the mental to-do list
✅ Moms struggling with mom guilt who feel selfish for wanting time to themselves and can't sit down without immediately thinking about what they "should" be doing
✅ Single mothers carrying everything who are touched out by 9 AM but the day is just starting
✅ Mothers who miss who they used to be before they became just "mom" and are tired of "just make time" advice that ignores their reality
If you're hiding in the bathroom just to think for two seconds, snapping at your kids when the pressure gets to be too much, or feeling bad for not being "grateful enough," this program is for you.
What You Get With Mom Time
Five recorded sessions where I walk you through the whole process - you're not doing this alone.
Each session includes:
A short teaching moment about what we're exploring (3 min)
🠊 Five sentence stems to ground yourself in what's true right now (5 min)
🠊 A guided visualization where you feel into what's happening in your body (10 min)
🠊 Art journal prompt to express what came up - I'm doing it with you (15 min)
🠊 Written prompt to process what surfaced (10 min)
🠊 Three reflection questions to integrate what you discovered (5 min)
I do not think you need more time management. I won't give you productivity hacks or tell you to wake up at 5 AM. This is about YOU processing YOUR relationship with time guilt, urgency, and the stories that make you feel behind no matter what you do.
You also get:
🠊 Written directions for each session (5 minutes to read if you can't watch)
🠊 50 journal prompts for deeper exploration
🠊 Immediate access to a password-protected webpage on kaylahuszar.com
🠊 No expiry date (it's yours as long as I'm running this site)
The five sessions
-
We explore the tension of loving this phase AND finding it hard through a body-based visualization. You'll feel into wanting contradictory things and give yourself permission to be tired AND grateful at the same time.
-
We examine the story "I have no time" through feeling where it lives in your body. You'll discover when it's real vs. when it's old programming, and express what your relationship with time actually looks like.
-
We feel into what urgency does in your body when you treat Tuesday morning like you're running from a bear. You'll express what rushing feels like versus what pause feels like.
-
We explore the guilt that surfaces when you sit down for two seconds. You'll write yourself the grace you've been waiting to hear instead of demanding more productivity from your exhausted body.
-
We distinguish between zoning out and actually feeling human again. You'll create a menu of things that restore you and make a plan for finding breathing room while the system stays exactly as broken as it is.
What this looks like
After working through MOM TIME, Liz shared:
"You know what was surprising? How present Kayla feels whether you work with her live or through a recording. I can't imagine having someone else walk me through a program like Mom Time other than Kayla. I loved the guidance offered to process some tensions I experience as a mom to a preteen and a teen.
Kayla takes the time to explain what we're going to do next and then she does it with you and shares her process - being able to see what she means gave me a lot of permission to experiment with my own self-expression.
The feeling afterwards? I felt light, I felt understood, and I felt hopeful that it's going to be okay and that my frustrations can be worked through in a very safe way."
— Liz
